It’s been a busy, busy month on the Marketplaces with our Growth Team hard at work adding a whole heap of new categories and organizing some of our current ones. Let’s take a stroll through the Marketplaces to introduce you to these new and expanded categories.

GraphicRiver

GraphicRiver saw our most additions by far, with seven new or improved categories being added to the site. Here they are in all their glory:

• Photoshop Styles – a ton of PhotoShop text-effects and style collections
• Facebook Timeline Covers – Ever since Facebook introduced their new timeline and timeline covers, files of this nature have become very popular. Now we have a separate category just for them.
• Loyalty Cards – A common collateral piece for many small businesses are Loyalty Cards as something to hand out to try and pull in repeat business. We feel Loyalty Cards could do very well on GraphicRiver so we’re adding a sub-category for it.
• Packaging – Packaging design is a common element many businesses need. And it’s an obvious fit within GraphicRiver’s Print Templates section.
• Photoshop Actions – Photoshop is one of GraphicRiver’s most popular categories. Now we have even more selection with our new Actions category which currently includes photo, text-effects and utilities.
• Signage – We’re thinking big with our new Signage category. It will cover everything from large posters, to billboards and vehicle wraps. It’s currently being filled with great content with a $1000 reward for the first 40 accepted designs.
• Business Cards Sub-categories – Business Cards is a pretty popular category with over 3,000 items. Yet it has no sub-categories to make it easier to find the right type of item. We’d like to fix that by launching several sub-categories.

CodeCanyon

Not to be outdone, CodeCanyon adds some organization within its WordPress Plugins category:

• Interface Elements – We bring some better organization to the WordPress plugins with the addition of this new Interface Elements sub-category.

3DOcean

3DOcean also receives some love with the addition of a few new sub-categories:

• HDRI Sky Sub-Categories – It will be a whole lot easier to find some awesome HDRI skies with the adding of several new sub-categories including daylight, overcast, blue cloudy and sunrise & sunset.
• Base Meshes – Base Meshes provide a nice starting point for 3D model makers, so we added a dedicated sub-category underneath 3D Models.

So now get out there and start designing for the new and improved categories
