Last week at the Envato Community Meetup in K.L I met a young author who had just started designing and uploading his items. When I asked him how he was finding the experience he answered:

“I really love designing, but I don’t know if I will ever get an item accepted”.

I asked him why he thought that way and he replied that he didn’t know if he would ever be a good enough designer to achieve his dream.

It reminded me of this quote by Dinah Mulock Craik, a British writer.

β€œIt is never too late to be what you might have been.”

As long as you believe in yourself and work hard toward your goals, you will achieve them. It is never too late to try!

    Oh yes – that’s true!

It’s never too late to try….

I did a lot of athletics and my mission was to compete in the olympics and that aim made me work a lot.

I music business it’s the same for me….you have to tell the world outside that they need you because they don’t do that usually:-)….

    So….let’s go on!!

I’m exactly the same as the author and I guess that it’s a common thing among those who are just branching out.

Even if the first few items get rejected, the author can learn much from it and his work becomes better and better and someday their items will be accepted and each will boost their confidence.
