This contest is now closed as I’ve sent out all the stickers I had and more!

With Envato turning 5 in August it’s time to do a little something fun with our community. Think of it as our way of showing that we haven’t turned into some old fuddy-duddy!

This month our Community team has put together a fun little Envato logo contest involving sensational things like stickers and the postal system (gasp!). Introducing the Where in the World is the Envato Logo Contest!

What’s the deal?

After returning from our Chicago Community meetup and opening my luggage I came to realize two things:

1. I had a ton of Envato logo stickers shoved into my baggage.
2. I had apparently developed some type of Bubba Gump glass fetish.

While I can live with Bubba Gump, I have to do something about all these Envato Logo stickers!

So why not a Where in the World is the Envato Logo Contest?

The contest is simple. You want an Envato Logo sticker and I have some. I will send you one if you promise to take a picture of it in some wild and wonderful location where you live. Then just send it to me (travis at envato dot com) for our Flickr account. By the end of the contest I’ll try and russle up some prizes for the best submissions. Simple enough? Well, for the real fuddy-duddies among us, here are some more details and instructions (gasp!).

Instructions & Rules

Please don’t use the Envato Logo sticker for evil: If you have plans of world domination or just get a kick out of littering, please do not use the Envato Logo sticker. We would hate to think our beautiful little logo is becoming worldwide graffiti. So please do not put the sticker on anything you don’t own! Putting it on your laptop is fine. Putting it on a strangers taco salad is not.

Please participate: If you ask for me to send you a sticker, please send us a photo of it. I figure I’ll be dropping a bit of cash on postage, so don’t ask for a sticker and then not participate in the contest. I really can’t enforce this rule but I’m sure at our next community meetup I’ll have to give you a dirty look, or at very least break a chair over your back.

Keep it PG: I know the rule “don’t put the sticker on things you don’t own” can be open to a wide, wide interpretation. Let’s just say that there are plenty of things that you probably “own” that I don’t want to see with a sticker on.

Shrink your photos before you send: Please reduce the size of your pictures before you email them to me (travis at envato dot com). Anything in the 800px – 1000px range will be more than enough for our Flickr page. Should you decide to get cheeky and send me a High Def 25MB photo? Your back. My chair. Enough said.
