Featured Workspace: Kuala Lumpur Conference Room

Apr 30

Here is our temporary workspace for our two-week stay in Kuala Lumpur. Impressive, hey! It reminds me of a meeting of the United Nations.

Most mornings there are presentations to the entire company. They’re generally both impressive and interesting. Sometimes they have raised a lot of discussion. Those who weren’t present in body were able to Skype in, and even ask questions.

Later in the day we work on our computers around tables. We’re able to chat with one another in a way that isn’t possible when we’re scattered around the world. Individual teams have also been meeting together for planning and evaluation.

And just in case you think we’re just sitting around all day, we’re not. Our taskmaster Lance Snider has been working us hard, shouting orders, and keeping us in shape. This photo is of our hundredth pushup. Honestly! ;)

Would you like your workspace featured on Envato Notes? Upload your photo to somewhere on the Web and let us know about it on our Write a Post page. Or upload it to Flickr and tag it with #envatonotesworkspaces. Either way, add an interesting description. Each week we’ll choose and publish a new photo.

I just came here to mention that the “Write a Post” link is odd, it links to community/community/community/community/ likewise.

And someday I’ll share my rather minimal freelance workplace setup :)

Hi Deb. Thanks for letting me know about the link problem. It seems to be working now, but please let me know if you have ongoing problems. The link should take you to

    • Adrian Try on the 1st May

And PS. Minimal workspace photos are always welcome. Sometimes less is more! :)

Sorry for being picky Adrian, the link works but looks like this in code http://d.pr/i/4zJ9 , that is /community/community repeated many times.

      Hi Deb

Thanks for following up – I don’t think you’re being picky at all. Now I can see what you’re talking about. I fixed the link, and it should be updated soon depending on the WordPress cache.

And I’m looking forward to seeing your minimal workplace setup!
