What tune did you march down the aisle to when you got married? Chances are it wasn’t an AudioJungle track. Shame on you.

But if you’re single, here’s a great idea for when you’re ready to tie the knot. Do what this couple did, and choose AudioJungle! Not only did they march down the aisle to a tune by Andy Slatter (Slats), they also featured it on their Flash wedding invitation (above). Now that’s a forward-thinking couple!

Mobislyder (Compact Mobile Slider…from Glidetrack) from FX Films on Vimeo.

I love iGadgets at the best of times – and this Mobislyder (a compact, mobile slider from Glidetrack) definitely hits the spot. But this demo video is even more appealing because of its use of marketplace items.

FX Films, the creators of the video, are big users of our marketplace. In this clip, they have used items from both VideoHive and AudioJungle. Congratulations to the authors: Yeremiah, Bilder and Sashqxxx.

An AudioJungle Track Used in a Short Valentines Day Video

Niemierko Valentine’s Party, Spencer Hart from FX Films on Vimeo.

Here’s a video that uses music from AudioJungle in the backing track. It’s a short account of the Valentine’s reception held at Tailors Spencer Hart a couple of weeks ago.

In this case, the track used is Funny Neighbors by soundroll. The track is described as a “classic swing jazz band playing fun music. There is nice melody playing on piano and guitar. Features brass/horn section (trumpet, trombone and saxophones). It is a fast piece. I can imagine this music on family comedy or sitcom.”

Richard from FX Films, the creator of the video, thought it was exactly what he needed. In fact, he uses the Envato marketplaces more and more – AudioJungle without fail, and often VideoHive. He has discovered that marketplace files can be used together to create compelling videos.

Have a listen to the track on its own:

A huge congratulations to soundroll. It’s great to see how your work is being used!

ThemeForest Theme Used for Slaughterhouse’s Official Site

Authors Patrik Larsson and Quickandeasy were surfing the web this week, and stumbled on the site in the image above: www.slaughterhouseweb.com. These guys spend so much time on ThemeForest that they can spot a theme anywhere. They instantly recognized that the site is using Denoizzed’s King Size – fullscreen background WordPress theme.

[Update: It's been pointed out numerous times in the comments (thanks guys) that the theme is actually Studio8, so all congratulations go to udfrance instead!]

The site is is the official home on the Web for the well-known hip hop group Slaughterhouse, which consists of rappers Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5’9″ (and is promoted by Eminem). The theme is very effective for this type of site, and features a playlist of tunes featuring the group, a slideshow of images of each group member, as well as links to their Twitter handles.

Case Study: RTEwork – Quantity Helps!

Just because quality trumps quantity doesn’t make quantity a bad thing. While some authors have done very well with tiny portfolios, having lots of quality items only increases your chances of success. As long as quality isn’t compromised.

Take RTEwork for example. He currently has a total of 207 3D models in 3DOcean. That’s a mind-blowing number! Especially given the amount of work it takes to create each model.

Turn On The Bright Lights by Gueorgui

Who do you go to when looking for advice when buying a car? A mechanic. Whose opinion do you trust when asking for opinions about quality music? Chances are you’ll most value the opinion of another musician.

Well, recently this topic came up on the AudioJungle forums. Ezrasound asked:

I was curious to know what everyone’s favorite song on AudioJungle is? I thought it would be fun to post them here so people get an idea of author’s favorites. One note: You can’t put your own.

Two months and 44 comments later, the exercise is a huge success. Many of the best authors made suggestions—and were suggested. 58 songs were suggested in total. A shoutout to Soundroll, hamditheone, adamjamescuz, Dirtyflint and Solidbeats for receiving three or more “likes” each.

There’s a track here from just about every genre to suit just about anyone’s taste. Only one silly track made the list—I’ll let you decide which one it is. What is your favorite?
