Well, our top sellers like Kriesi have mentioned on the forums that they make upwards of $30K per month! That’s impressive. Well, until now.
Last month a marketplace author broke the $40K barrier. That’s $40,000 worth of sales in one month. I won’t tell you who the author is. At least not yet. But you know who you are. Congratulations!

Simple: Be awesome and make really, really good and/or trendy-looking stuff. Be friendly with people and answer all the tons and tons of annoying user nagg…er…questions. And sell the stuff that costs more. Don’t make 200 text styles that obviously copied the last 20 people making them. Make solid WordPress themes. Make about 50 or more of them. At $30 a pop, if they are really nice, you can make seriously impressive passive income. In short, though, you’d probably have to focus on Envato full-time to make that much.

That’s very impressive. 40K a month sounds amazing, but there is probably a huge amount of work put into that.
