4K video is the future, but should I care today? I’ve noticed a few 4K TVs around, but I can’t afford them. And most of the channels on Foxtel (for the non Aussie folks, they are the primary pay TV provider around this part of the world) aren’t even HD yet! If you are after a very basic explanation of what 4K is, then it’s nothing more than content having horizontal resolution in the order of 4,000 pixels. You can already pick up 4K stock footage and reveals on VideoHive. I caught up with some of the authors about why I should care about the 4K hype.
