Sign the Envato Yearbook

Author Myjilson has revived the Envato Yearbook thread!
The original thread was created by GraphicRiver authors, who added their digital signatures to a special yearbook image. The final product was fantastic and we can understand why they wanted to try it again. The new thread includes all Marketplaces this year and already has over 50 signatures!

(This was the most up to date image at the time of this post.)

The Envato community is a creative bunch and threads like this keep popping up to show us how talented and fun you all are. If you haven’t yet contributed, head to the thread and make your mark.

Playing xylophone, glockenspiel and vibraphone at primary school, sitting at home writing random songs, improvising classical or jazz at the piano or guitar, and taking care of anything with electrons flowing through it. Meet the AudioJungle team.

Welcome to AudioJungle!

AudioJungle officially opened its doors in May, 2008. Prior to that, some of our audio was available on ActiveDen, or “FlashDen” as it was known back then. It wasn’t until AudioJungle became an entirely separate site that we started to raise both the quality and quantity of audio in our library. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, affordable Royalty-Free music, and this is mostly down to the incredible authors who are part of the AudioJungle community. We are very proud of the music we offer on AudioJungle and hope that you’ll always be able to find the perfect audio for your next project on our site.

The People Who Make It Happen

Sometimes we forget about the people that work hard behind the scenes to keep everything operating smoothly and effectively on a day-to-day basis. Let’s take a look at the team behind AudioJungle.

Smartr: Making Studying (Ever So Slightly) FunSmartr: Making Studying (Ever So Slightly) Fun

As a student, I know exactly how boring studying is. You spend all day locked in your room, poring over a textbook thick enough to stop a bullet at 30 yards, and trying to concentrate on those printed words while resisting the temptation to let your mind wander.

Sound familiar? I’m sure every student has been in this situation at least once and I can tell you now, it isn’t a fun one to be in. But studying doesn’t have to be a daily slog through endless sheets of notes and lifeless, black-and-white textbooks. There are plenty of ways to rekindle the ever so slight spark of fun in your studies.

International Freelancers Day

Tomorrow (Friday, September 23) is International Freelancers Day. It’s a day to treat yourself and sit back and think about all the wonderful things you do as a freelancer.

International Freelancers Day is a global initiative to celebrate independent workers, their entrepreneurial spirit and the tremendous impact they have on economic growth. The celebration will center on a free online conference with Envato’s own Sean Hodge as one of the presenters.

So what are you planning to do? I’m going to treat myself to curry and a movie. Probably not both at the same time…
