Avacado Spring Rolls by Sharyn Morrow

We want to hear from you. Each week we give you a chance to share your thoughts, opinions and ideas. Have your say!

How do you spend lunch? Do you buy lunch, make lunch, or skip lunch? Do you eat healthy food or fast food? If you work from home, do you use lunch as an opportunity to get out, or drop crumbs into your keyboard pretending to work? Do you relax, socialize, exercise, sleep, or run errands? We’re dying to know! Let us know in the comments.

Canyon de Chelly, AZ by Jacqueline Poggi

Within the last month, we’ve launched a new subcategory under each root category on CodeCanyon, called “Add-Ons.” The beautiful thing about this new category is that it allows authors to create “ecosystems” for their items, by letting their peers create and sell add-ons for their items. Imagine what WordPress would be like without its plugin repository! You can now do the same for your items.

Pencil by Tamburix

The marketplace site managers have been hanging around 3DOcean this week, analyzing, discussing and planning ways they can help improve and grow 3DOcean. They’ve already got some great long- and short-term projects lined up.

Now they need your help! We’d love every 3DOcean author spend a few minutes completing our survey below:

http://enva.to/3DOsurvey

Be truthful. Be honest. Be passionate. Let us know what you like, don’t like, and how you’d like the site to improve. Not only will your input help ensure 3DOcean’s continued success in the future—you could also win a great prize.

We are giving away 5 x $20 marketplace credits which you can use to spend on any of our marketplaces. For a chance to win, just make sure you provide your username when completing the survey.

For more details, and to let us know when you’ve completed the survey, refer to this thread on the 3DOcean forum.

Meet the Directors: Vahid Ta’eed

Baking cakes, the massive $10,000 credit give away, spending time with family, and being the office bin man. In this series of interviews we meet those who are at the wheel steering Envato’s course—the directors. Today we meet Vahid Ta’eed.

Tell us a bit about yourself. What part of the world are you from? What type of work were you doing before Envato?

I come from a pretty diverse background.  I’m half Iranian and half English, born in the UK but grew up in Papua New Guinea – or PNG for short.  Both relatively large islands in even larger oceans, but almost diametrically opposite to each other on the Earth, both location wise as well as culturally.

Completing school, I left PNG and went to study optoelectronics in Australia.  Lots of physics with a bit of math, comp sci and electronics thrown in for an ‘all-rounded’ experience!
