Sadly I’ve come to the end of my two weeks in Melbourne, and by the time you read this will be making the agonizing drive home – for 23 hours! Although the office is still quiet following the Chicago event, it was great catching up with real faces instead of avatars.
Melbourne is almost 2,000 km south of where I live, and the weather has been around 10°C colder than the Sunshine State. I’m heading home with a huge cold, and hope the warmer weather will kill it in no time.
Thanks Melbourne for the fun work days, the good food, and the game of pool.

Purchasing software is an investment – and often an expensive one. But it’s amazing how many excellent free tools and utilities there are that make a big difference to our day.
I’m writing this from the Melbourne Envato office. I made the almost 2,000 km drive with my wife and two of our kids. I’m sitting at Skellie’s desk, and getting used to her chair, which seems to want to tilt forward all the time. Three knick-knacks on her desk – a dinosaur, a soldier and a Pharaoh – have been watching me type.
